  13. I just aquired a Tandy 486DX/33 laptop computer ... and have a couple of 
  14. questions ...
  15. 1) When  in use the bottom panel of the computer seems to get very hot ... I 
  16. don't know what temp. but it feels surprisingly high .. Has anyone experienced
  17. this with this model or other laptops??
  18. 2) I was messing around with windows (installing) and the amount of space 
  19. taken up on the hard drive seems to have increased dramatically .... The 
  20. 'chkdsk' command in DOS says there are 3 hidden files taking up about 12megs!
  21. Is there a way to get rid of them and do they have any purpose??(I think it 
  22. may be that windows is somehow on there twice now??!).
  23. Any help greatly appreciated (ps : Price for this comp. is 2299$ with 
  24. 4 meg ram / 60 MB hard drive).
