  12. Being extremely concerned about this issue, as I plan to buy a 386SL AST
  13. Power Exec and later upgrade it to a 486SL, I just got off the phone with
  14. AST Customer Information.  The lady said they'd had a lot of calls about
  15. Intel discontinuing the 486SL, so AST called Intel and asked.  Intel said
  16. that the article about the 486SL being discontinued was unauthorized, and
  17. that Intel has absolutely no plans to discontinue the 486SL.  So, we can
  18. all breath easy again. :-)
