- I also had a problem with slow floppys on my 486/33 AMI-OPTI motherboard.
- After a bit of experimentation, I found that "SLOW REFRESH DISABLED"
- reduced my "dir a:" times from 7 seconds to 3 seconds. Apparently it
- will take some experimentation for each of us to determine _our_particular_
- solution.
