- Has anyone been able to use 32-bit disk access in MS Window 3.1 together with
- the VL-bus ATI UltraPro Mach 32 drivers? I tried enabled that option last night
- and afterwards I cannot start Windows!! It bombed out and prints : "Can load
- 32-bit disk driver WDCNTL. Conflict with another virtual device." (Something
- to that effect. Can't remember the exact wording now.)
-
- Actually, what is the 32-bit disk access in MS Windows3.1??
- And is there a way to resolve this conflict?? Oh, I am using the ATI Version
- 1.0 and build 44 drivers?? (The ones that come preconfigured from Gateway 2000.)
-
- Thanks a lot. -- John
