- Or, as I found out the hard way, it means that you've got a dust buildup
- on the read-heads of your floppy drive. Mine don't get much use, except
- to install a new program. However, that little slot pulls air through
- the computer ALL the time (my usenet site runs 24 hrs/day). A can of
- compressed air does wonders for solving this problem. Note, also, that
- tape backups use light sensors to see the end-of-tape holes in DC2000
- series tapes -- dust means the tape will unspool, requiring you to take
- the tape apart and then reassemble it.
