  11. I read in one of the magazines (I think it was either "Windows" or
  12. "Windows User") that Central Point Backup finds an unusually high
  13. number of bogus errors on *any* tape.  My experience with PC Tools 7.1,
  14. which includes Central Point Backup, confirmed that for me.  It found
  15. errors on new tapes with my CMS Jumbo 120 tape drive that CMS's software
  16. said were fine.  According to the magazine article, Norton's Backup also
  17. was able to use the tapes that Central Point Backup said were bad.

  19. Although its user interface is a bit crude, I'm using CMS's software
  20. instead of Central Point Backup.
