- some OPTi chipsets made in the past couple years appear to have
- a DMA fault that shows up on faster boards (33+MHz)
- those with write-back caches seem to be more susceptible than
- other cahce architectures

- the fault causes some problems with the sound blaster pro, BIG
- problems with the Gravis ultrasound (pro audio spectrum(+,16) seem
- ok though.) problems have been reported with adaptec scsi controllers
