  11. Does anyone out there know the difference between an Adaptec 1542A and an 1542B
  12. controller ? I was told that the only difference is that the A version is 
  13. a full-length card whereas the B version is a half-length card; functionally
  14. they are exactly the same.
  15. Can I connect SCSI devices other than disks (tapes, CD-Rom etc.) on such
  16. controllers ? For disks: is it guaranteed that any SCSI disk will work
  17. with a 1542 controller.
