- Does anyone out there know the difference between an Adaptec 1542A and an 1542B
- controller ? I was told that the only difference is that the A version is
- a full-length card whereas the B version is a half-length card; functionally
- they are exactly the same.
- Can I connect SCSI devices other than disks (tapes, CD-Rom etc.) on such
- controllers ? For disks: is it guaranteed that any SCSI disk will work
- with a 1542 controller.
- Please include personal e-mail reply.
- Thanks.
