  24. having been screwed by all propertiary components (my AT&T 6300 comes
  25. to mind) on motherboard) have pledged NOT to buy anything that has
  26. anything MORE than the motherboard on the notherboard.

  29. do, and if so, does it use the old style multi-io card WITH a game

  35. Even in systems with the built-in G2000 gameport, experiences of
  36. many coworkers and friends who bought them seemed to vary. Some 
  37. reported problems with some brands of joysticks (in high speed
  38. machines like 486/33`s, or even 386/25's, and ended up getting a
  39. card no matter what. I was lucky that the first joystick I plugged
  40. in worked :-). It's a Gravis. It seemed that cheaper joysticks
  41. would not work.
