  13.   I'm looking for some advice on purchasing a new video card.  Right now I'm
  14. using a 1MB ATI Graphics Ultra card, and though the card performs great
  15. under Windows, it has a few incompatibility problems with some graphics
  16. applications (mostly shareware).  Some of the programs that don't work with it 
  17. 100% correctly are: PLAY80, POV-Ray, XINGMPEG, VPIC, SHOWGIF.

  19.   I've been doing a lot of work lately with TGA files (mostly created with
  20. POV-Ray) and I've been thinking of getting a Hicolor card.  Can someone
  21. please recommend a good card that displays TGA files at at least 800x600x32k
  22. and provide a little technical info.

  24.   Compatibility is a major issue for me, I'd like to get a card with a chipset
  25. that's compatible with everything (though that's probably impossible).  I
  26. had a card with a TSENG 4000 chipset previous to the ATI Graphics Ultra and it 
  27. worked with EVERYTHING.  The ATI works with some stuff, and not with others.

  29.   What's the story with the new Diamond Speedstar cards?  What chipsets do they
  30. use, do they support HiColor/Truecolor, are they compatible with most stuff?
  31. Are there any alternative cards I should be looking at?

  33.   Finally, the Windows co-processor is a nice addition.  Do any cards provide
  34. this in addition to the features I mentioned above?  (This isn't as important
  35. a feature to me as the others).
