- As far as I know, they will now not move their price. The reason is
- what you said below.

- The lead time is so long because they can't keep up with demand at the
- price they're at now. It would be kind of silly to lower their prices
- when they can sell all they can make at the stated price.

- But there's actually another reason for the no-haggling policy: Gateway
- is so busy and so hard to reach that management feels that allowing
- haggling would only make the situation worse, because then each salesman
- would end up spending even more time with each customer and there would
- be even more busy signals.
