- I recently acquired a 286/16MHz motherboard I want to use which has only 1Meg
- of RAM on board. It can be expanded up to 4Meg via 4 30-pin SIPP sockets (1Meg
- per socket). I really don't want to buy SIPPs, in the event of a 386/486 up-
- grade. My question is, can I buy SIMMs and buy an adaptor of some sort, or
- fashion one myself very easily? I don't know what the pin-outs are on either
- SIMMs or SIPPs. does anyone have this info? If this is a totally stupid idea,
- please let me know... thanks in advance...
