- Hello.

-
- *** MINOR SPOILER ***

- In Ultima 6 the spellbook is a very important item to be able to cast
- spells. At first, there is just a few spells in it. As you advance in the
- game, you will get new spells by buying them...
-
- To be able to cast a certain spell, you only have to buy it once but
- you must have reagents. In fact, the spell you buy is just a recipe.
-
- When you have reagents, you will see (while consulting your spellbook)
- how many times you can cast a certain spell with the reagents you
- currently have in your possession. This number of time you can cast
- the spell is related to your other spells as well because: let's say
- you can cast 2 light spells and 3 fireballs. You then cast a light
- spell, you will only have 2 fireballs left. The number of times you
- can cast a spell only indicates the TOTAL qty of reagents you have,
- not the number of spells you can cast.
-
- I hope it answers your questions about magic.
-
- bye.
