- One other note - if you have a slow system and are using a Soundblaster,
- turning off all sound and music makes the game play much faster. Of course,
- it's harder to play that way. It'd have been nice if they would put up
- text messages for things like 'incoming' and 'target destroyed', though
- at least for incomming you can watch the threat detection and display.
- Best is a faster system, natch.

- I played the game on a friends system which is 33mhz with cache, and it
- was a much more challenging game than it was on my old 16mhz no-cache
- system. On my system, I can easily fly through the narrow canyons at
- full throttle - on his sytem, I crash into the walls when I try that, and
- have to reduce speed.
