- I bought RRTycoon for my sister for Christmas (on the correct theory that she
- wouldn't want it :->), and I'm running the tutorial simulation. Since I'm on
- the easiest level with the easiest options, I'm making money hand over fist.
- But I've run into a couple problems:
-
- 1) I tried to build a terminal at Ashland, KY, and was given a message about
- not enough terminals. I couldn't find anything in the manual (which should
- really have an index, IMHO). Is there any way I can increase the max # of
- terminals? Does the max # change from game to game? What is it? Is there
- any way I can get rid of old terminals to build new ones elsewhere? I hate
- to waste all that track I laid to Ashland, especially when I have a couple
- worthless terminals elsewhere.
-
- 2) Some paper mills don't seem to work. I haul the wood to a station with a
- paper mill, the wood gets dumped at the station and I haul off empty paper
- cars. Shouldn't the mill automatically convert to paper? The mill at
- Charlottesville works, but the one by Harpers Ferry and the one NW of
- Winston-Salem don't. What am I doing wrong? While I'm at it, why can't I dump
- anything at the landings?
-
- If you have any great tips for a newbie, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
