  13. I have installed patch PHSS_1659 on an HP9000/400 (HP-UX 8.0) to be able
  14. to use the ISO8859-1 character set with the resource "HPterm*roman8" set
  15. to "False" and an appropriate ISO font.

  17. Everything works fine but...  with an HP46021AF keyboard (French layout),
  18. the key sequence [Ext Char][`] does not generate the character '|' (decimal
  19. 124) but a character whose decimal value is 166.  I am worried since this
  20. key sequence in the only way to introduce the '|' character (very useful on
  21. Unix :-) with a French keyboard.
