- Not to mention the fact that having a raw Ethernet interface would also
- allow a port of CAP 6.0 to HP that support Native EtherTalk. In fact it
- has always interested me that HP, which is reknowned for its network
- monitoring devices, doesn't supply an HP-UX kernel with a raw ethernet
- device driver as part of the standard distribution. Something of the kind
- must be available as part of the network management packages.
-
- And while I'm on the subject, how about another plug for HP to support
- the MIT X11R5 distribution as released by the consortium. I'm tired of
- hearing all the reasons why it shouldn't be done. If the customers want
- it they should be able to get it.
