- Also keep in mind:
-
- Scheidler Systems carries the 4.07MHZ EXPANSION CARTRIDGE
- Due to excellent architecture of the 6510, 4.07 MHZ on a 64 is equivelant
- to 8MHZ on an IBM! (look in a COMPUTE! magazine...its in a 1/4th size of
- page ad.) I belive it also has a expansion slot on the back, so you could
- plug in the xtra RAM.
-
- Tenex sells brand new Aprotek c2400 modems for only $79.95 (1-800-PROMPT-1)
-
-
- So how about that???
-
- A 64, with a 20-200meg hard drive, 4.07MHZ(equiv. to IBM XT 8mhz speed)
- with 577k ram. A 3 1/2" 808k disk drive (1581)....why should you even
- CONSIDER getting an MS-DOS computer? (Unless you need to do networking or
- multitasking)
-
- Which reminds me:
- Anybody know about NETWORKING for the 64? Ethernet or similar? What
- about MULTI-TASKING? I have a 3-process one...and it works pretty good.
