- Have any of you checked out the program "c64.zip" at ftp.cco.caltech.edu?
- (/pub/rknop/INCOMING/c64.zip). For those of you who can display HERCULES,
- this is ingenious! The guy completelt emulated the 6510, partially
- emulated the video and sound chips, and then COPIED the ENTIRE OPERATING
- SYSTEM (interpreter, kernal...) WITH LITTLE MODIFICATION! What does that mean?
- It means it emulates a REAL 64! Even run ML programs on it! WOW!
- He also went as far as to emulate a 1541 disk drive. The screen is all bitmap,
- it emulates the REAL vic chip, exept it's b/o and can't really do sprites.
- PLEASE! CHECK IT OUT! It even emulates a c64 keyboard! (ex. instead of
- SHIFT-2 being @..its "!!!) Everyone MUST try this!!! Make sure you get
- c64.txt, the translated docs, which are in the same directory. I found
- this AMAZING!!!
