  14. hello hardware freaks,

  16. heres a problem i have got.  Basically when the machine is turned on, i get a
  17. black screen, and nothing else.  The power light comes on, and the tape motor
  18. starts.  It doesnt seem to start properly, no blue screen or anything.  The tape
  19. stays on, but the black screen just stays and nothing else happens...

  21. any help would be greatly appreaciated .. eg what chips you reckon are mucked up.
