-
- Dave, 'modular' simply means that the cpu and monitor are separate pieces, as
- opposed to the all-in-one concept of the earlier Macs.
-
- >The LC/LC II/IIsi have one slot -- and it isn't even a NuBus slot!
-
- OK, and how many VME slots do you have on the previous MegaSTe and TT? One,
- right? And how many VME expansion slots are there on the Falcon 030? Zip.

-
- Really? How long does it take you to reach the motherboard on a MegaSTe or TT?
- I still have nightmares of wrestling with the shielding on my MegaSTe. I find
- it much easier to push on two tabs to lift the hood of my IIci.
-
- Hey, I LIKE Atari computers! But I'll be switched if I'm going to set back in
- my easy chair and sing the praises of Atari and be blind to the advances that
- the "other guys" have made over the years while Atari stagnates. It's BECAUSE
- I like my Atari computers that I get so p.o.'d when I seen Atari HQ make such
- stupid decisions... like their CLOSED architecture!
-
- Howard said "you must be a moron if you think Macs are expandable." Well, you
- better go ahead and dust off my duncecap then fellas because I'd die a happy
- man if my Atari was as "non-expandable" as my Mac.
