  22. My goodness.  I have read plenty of messages from Darek that made me lose  
  23. respect for him.  This, however, is _not_ one of them.  All of what Darek  
  24. said seemed level-headed and well documented, down to the calculations of  
  25. bytes transferred in screen redraws.  Most of csullogg's responses were  
  26. infantile and often incorrect.  I think he disgraced himself (and not  
  27. Darek) in this post.

  29. By the way, the slowness of Pagestream redraws is due to poor algorithms  
  30. and/or coding, not the speed of the ST.  DTP programs for the mac redraw  
  31. quite satisfactorily under Spectre GCR on a stock ST.  Take a look at  
  32. Calamus if you'd like to see the result of good redraw algorithms.  If  
  33. pagestream is depressing you, don't upgrade your machine, pressure  
  34. SoftLogik to upgrade the program to make it usable.
