  13. I'm wondering about what kinds of development utilities there are for
  14. the GS.

  17. Has the unix gcc ever been ported to the GS?

  20. I'm intrested in forming a call for technology type of organization
  21. for the GS.  IT would be sort of like saying that this and this is
  22. needed to be done.  OSF sort of works like this.  Every member pays a
  23. fee.  This fee goes into a fund.  Every so often, people submit papers
  24. or proposals.  This proposal is reviewed by a board which decides
  25. which project will get funded.  Being funded, the project now has
  26. incentive to do some work.  Being a member entitles all the members to
  27. profit from the work by recieving copies of all work done as part of
  28. the group.  What happens, is that everyone benifits.

  30. I think we all kind of have an idea of what type of work needs to be
  31. done for the GS, but feel a little slugish to get to work on it.
  32. Being presured to do it would be a great way to get the work done.
