- Back in 1986 (My High School daze) we had some "up-with-people" type
- group visit our school and give a presentation. This presentation involved
- a lot of rah-rah and other "uplifting" garbage as well as a three-screen
- multimedia show. During this show the center screen was used to show live
- (IE Motion Picture) action and the two out screens showed slides and
- multi-colored backgrounds. My attention was immediately drawn to the
- static displays and I noticed that there were words faded into the patterns
- and colors. I pointed this out to people around me and nobody could
- see these words. (Example words "Peace", "Love", "Apple" (?), etc.)
- Now, SOMEONE really belived in subliminal messages and was
- willing to make (possibly illegal) use of them during a school show...
