  21. If 2.1 requires the 2.04+ ROMS, you need the _software only_ 2.1 Enhancer
  22. kit (well, software and docs, no ROM) and one of the following:

  24. 1) Obtain a 2.04 SuperKickstart floppy disk and upgrade the 2.X Kickstart 
  25. file on your Hard Disk.  You retain the advantages and disadvantages of 
  26. 1.3 boot capability.  The cost of the SuperKickstart disk may be cheaper 
  27. than ROMs too.  However, they may no longer be available, now that the 3000 
  28. ROMS have been released..

  30. 2) Install the A3000 2.04+ ROM.  Don't purchase the 2.1 software + ROM kit,
  31. the ROM included in the kit is for A500/A1000(with adapter board)/A2000 
  32. systems and won't work in your 3000.

  34. I don't believe 2.1 Workbench is compatible with pre-2.04 versions of
  35. 2.X Kickstart, but either of the options above should get you going 
  36. with 2.1..
