- Well, I have certainly low level formatted IDE HD on IBM PC/AT's. AMI BIOS
- even has a bunch of drive routines (lowlevel fmt, check drive, etc...) so I
- know that it can be done :) The problem is the amiga doesn't want to do
- it, and high level format results in a cancel at cyl 477...

- I have also low level formatted SCSI drives on Sun Workstations.... It
- isn't normal procedure, but it CAN be done.
