- Has anyone besides me had this problem? I just installed the WB2.1 upgrade on my
- A3000 which still uses the "superkickstart" (non-ROM). I found that booting off the
- install disk (which is required to perform the installation) always crashed the
- machine with a software error. I eventually discovered that the SetPatch program
- on the install disk was the cause. After replacing it with the old 2.04 version of
- SetPatch I was able to complete the installation. The dealer who sold me the upgrade
- said they hadn't seen this problem before. Is there a newer version of the 2.04
- kickstart than the one I have (which came directly from C=)?
