- I just bought AmiBack. I couldn't get past the phase errors until I used the
- "Syncronous" mode. I haven't tried gvpscsicntl 5 DCOFF yet to see if it fixes
- the tar phase errors.

- GVP says some tape drives don't do disconnect/reconnect properly. I wonder
- if that is really true of the Archive 2150S...

- Mine are -07. According to Archive, there is a newer version, but the ROM
- is NOT socketed. They want $75 and me to mail them the drive for the update.
- I decided not to do that. (I really didn't want to part with the drive for
- an indefinite period.) They didn't seem to think that the new ROM would help.
