- You don't say which BJ printer, and there are several available.
-
- I recently bought a BJ200 for $360 at CompuAdd, and it's a fantastic
- little printer. There are good drivers for ALL the canon printers on a
- recent Fish disk (high 690's I think) and some new ones are due soon.
-
- As for laser printers, sure they have advantages in speed etc, but consider
- how much you'll use the printer, whether it will print on various types of
- paper you might wish to use, how much toner costs etc.
-
- Highest resolution on the BJ200 is 360x360 which is more than most Laser
- printers and in most printouts I think the BJ is sharper than a Laserwriter II
- I use at work.
