- Tape Backups
-
- I have seen a couple of systems out there that use
- the parallel port for an interface. There are others that use
- the PC floppy port for an interface. What gives? I cant hardly find
- a scsi tape system - no one has them when I call....
-
- I really need a tape system to safeguard my data, but I wont pay the
- big $$ for a new DAT or new scsi.
-
- Why all the silence on the net here re. those parallel and floppy-controlled
- tape systems? Is there just no one who knows how to get it working, or
- is everyone scrambling to develop a solution? ;-)
-
- Maybe the parallel system would be the simpler of the two to interface
- to the amiga.
-
- Any comments??
