- The Toshiba is taking longer to reach a "ready" condition, and so when the
- controller polls the drive intially, its showing "not ready". A bunch of
- seagates made about 3 years ago did the same thing.

- A possible work around, keep changing the SCSI ID making higher and higher,
- the theory being that it usually only needs another second or so to
- become "ready". I have a seagate that requires it be SCSI ID of 5 or
- greater to work on cold boots.
