- I just encountered some problems connecting a second harddisk (Quantum LPS105)
- to my 22mhz 68030 combo card. My frist drive is a Quantum LPS120. Each drive
- has two partitions. I removed the terminating resistorpacks from the LPS120.
- At first the system refused to boot. Then I removed the EP (Enable Parity ?)
- jumpers from the two drives. Now, the system sometimes boots from my boot-
- partition on the LPS120 and sometimes the system hangs. I have set all partitions
- to Bootpriority -128 except for my boot partition (priority 0 ).
- The LPS120 is on ID 1 and the LPS105 on ID 2. If I set any drive to ID 0.
- The system refuses to boot totally. I discovered, that at any time the LPS105
- is mounted correctly, but the LPS120 switches on the HD-LED and doesn`t stop
- doing whatever it is doing. Has anyone had similar problems ?
- I`ve got gvpscsi.device version 3.6 or 3.8, I think.
- Any help appreciated !!
