- I found the same thing trying to fit a Seagate 296N in there. It was
- just barely (1/4"?) too long to go in, and nothing I could do without
- damaging my computer would get it to go in. I managed to get an Archive
- DAT unit in there, but only by cutting off the back end of the plastic
- part of the SCSI connector - otherwise it was about 1/8" too long.

- metal grating over part of the power supply, or maybe the power supply
