- I've got a 22mhz combo board (5megs RAM, SCSI controller, 22mhz 030). I've got
- 3 SCSI hard drives chained together - 2 105meg Quantums and an 870meg Toshiba -
- brand new. When I do a cold boot, the system recognizes the 2 quantums and
- boots off of the one, but it never recognizes the Toshiba. However, when I do
- a warm boot (ctrl-amiga-amiga), it recognizes it just fine.
-
- Any idea what the problem is? A further clue is that the drive does grind away
- a bit on cold boot, but it makes other noises on warm-boot - there are three
- partitions on it - on warm boot, it makes three distinct clucking sounds -
- accessing each paritition I assume. It doesn't make these noises on cold boot.
-
- Any help would be appreciated!
