- : For those brain-dead, non 2.0 compliant programs that have to run under a
- : 1.x environment (many older games come immediately to mind...) would
- : require that 1.x ROM in order to be able to boot-up in 1.x mode, thus the
- : two ROM sockets...
-
- Actually, I'd like to be able to have a 2.0 ROM, a 1.3 ROM, and be able to
- boot off of a KickStart disk (for those really bold games). Is this feasible?
-
- I've heard that the KwickStart II will support either two ROMs or one ROM
- and loading from KickStart disks. Is this true? I've heard that the
- KwickStart II is available for $52 mailorder, but the cheapest price that
- I've been able to find is $69. Where can I get the $52 price?
-
- Thanks in advance,
