- Sam Hulick,
-
- We wonder why people will jump to posting inflamatory and often
- incorrect postings about products (ours or anyone else's) without
- having first contacted the company involved for technical support.
-
- It seems logical to expect that if your goal was to get satisfaction,
- the first place you'd call would be the manufacturer. ASDG employs
- myself and several others in full time technical support positions.
- Your actions have cheated me of an opportunity to do my job (which
- is: to help you).
-
- In your case you would have found (after properly registering
- your product, since you were not to be found in either the ADPro
- or MorphPlus registered user databases) that a bug has been found
- and fixed in the first release of the ANIM saver sent with 1.0.0
- of MorphPlus. This bug would manifest itself by filling your
- harddrive (occassionaly) if and only if the height of your image
- was a power of 2 larger than 64. Your images were 128 pixels
- in height, you said.
-
- Your CHIP ram problem can perhaps be traced to your friend's
- MPEG program, this is NOT a known feature of any ASDG product.
-
- We will provide a free upgrade of MorphPlus 1.0 owners to the latest
- MorphPlus when we release ADPro 2.2 (the ADPro 2.2 upgrade will be
- provided for a small fee). The new MorphPlus has been shipping for
- quite a while but we haven't sent upgrades to 1.0.0 owners yet so
- as to time its release with ADPro 2.2.
-
- In the future, if you have a problem, rather then becoming agitated
- in a vacuum, give our technical support staff a chance to help.
- That is, of course, if your goal WAS to get satisfaction, rather
- than simply to post a flame.
