- We have an A2000 with the A2065 Ethernet card and TCP/IP software. I
- would like to get news and mail running on it, hopefully using our local
- news archive machine (with NNTP ?)
-
- I am confused about the role of UUCP. Wasn't it superceded by the
- protocol Internet relies on ?
-
- Most importantly, do I need UUCP to get News and Mail ? Most of the PD
- news/mail programs seem to refer to/require Dillon's UUCP.
-
- Also, can anyone recommend news and mail software for a direct Internet
- connection ?
-
-
- Thanks for any replies.
