  13. Does anyone know if there is a collection (not necessary that it is 
  14. amiga, could be Unix also) of utilities to do conversion between the
  15. different audio formats?  I'm looking for utilities similar to the
  16. functionalitiy of 'fbm'  but intstead of conversion of many graphic
  17. formats to many other graphics formats... these utilties would convert
  18. many different audio formats to other audio formats.   The utilities
  19. must be available in C-source code so that I can use them in software
  20. maybe as a library.

  22. My other question is what could be considered the most common audio
  23. formats  (amiga, unix, pc, macintosh).  I'd like to know the high
  24. (quality) formats also.
