- I was checking out some IBM computers the other day and saw this nice $3000
- set-up with this multi-media package which included a CD-ROM, windows, and
- Sound Blaster Pro... this thing looked and sounded better than the Amiga. I
- didn't know IBM did that stuff. This makes me wanna sell my Amiga and get
- compatible with the rest of the world...
-
- I couldn't stay around to ask many questions, plus the guy was pissing me off
- telling me how much better his machine was. Does anyone know the specifics on
- the Sound Blaster Pro? It sounded just like a 16 bit sound board on the Amiga,
- but for $170 (I think). So what's the deal? Seems like I'd have to buy
- thousands of dollars worth of hard ware to compare to this machine's graphics,
- speed, and sound! I thought it was the other way around.
