- I too have experienced these problems but I find that I only get
- corrupted files when transferring across a slow connection (ie:
- my friends machine is connected to the internet at 9600 baud). Another
- point is the protocol you're using. ftp ALWAYS gives me good DMS files,
- while I've had whole batches from FSP which are stuffed.

- I've managed to track down a program (C source code) which you can
- compile on your unix host to check DMS files for validity before you download
- them. It's a real lifesaver.
