  31. I find SuperBase Pro 4, version 1.2 absolutely IDEAL!  Not only can I keep 
  32. track of my collection the way *I* want to, and change field names on the fly
  33. upon whim (and need), but I can also have the PICTURES of the stamps cataloged 
  34. as well, along with the data I've collected, AND can bring up one or more
  35. external text files about the stamp if I *really* found a lot of information.
  36. (and if the info fits more than one stamp, they can ALL point ot the same
  37. text file).  And all of this is attached to the same database record.

  39. Price tag is steep, but well worth it for a stamp collector.  (Remember how
  40. much you paid for that signed artist's die proof?  Or that sheet of color
  41. trials?  Now - can either item do as much for the same price?  *wink* )

  43. I don't recall ever seeing a stamp-collecting database under MS-DOS that
  44. had any versatility, BTW...  They seem to assume that a stamp collector has
  45. no computer knowledge or even database knowledge...*sigh*
