- I find SuperBase Pro 4, version 1.2 absolutely IDEAL! Not only can I keep
- track of my collection the way *I* want to, and change field names on the fly
- upon whim (and need), but I can also have the PICTURES of the stamps cataloged
- as well, along with the data I've collected, AND can bring up one or more
- external text files about the stamp if I *really* found a lot of information.
- (and if the info fits more than one stamp, they can ALL point ot the same
- text file). And all of this is attached to the same database record.
-
- Price tag is steep, but well worth it for a stamp collector. (Remember how
- much you paid for that signed artist's die proof? Or that sheet of color
- trials? Now - can either item do as much for the same price? *wink* )
-
- I don't recall ever seeing a stamp-collecting database under MS-DOS that
- had any versatility, BTW... They seem to assume that a stamp collector has
- no computer knowledge or even database knowledge...*sigh*
