- It all depends who is providing the service...

- If you can arrange a UUCP feed, then you want rucp and readnews (both from
- newky, except I think rucp has been mis-named uucp.

- If you have a tcp/ip feed (as available from demon internet services for
- a tenner a month for dial-up access), then you need Jonathan Naylor's
- ka9q and BM package. Note that this has been subsequently modified by
- Anthony Frost (vulch@kerno.demon.co.uk) to add a news download - this version
- is available by ftp from demon.co.uk in /pub/archimedes and on Arcade BBS.
- BM is the mailer, though you may prefer to use Anthony Frost's ReaderS (10
- pounds careware) - you'll need this to read news. In the near future, you
- may see programs which let you use readnews with ka9q.
