- I missed the first part of the discussion so please forgive me if my
- remark seems out of context, but default sorting will be appplication
- dependent.

- The existence of two distinct possible sortings is significant, IMO as
- well. Of course you will find 'words' in an order in a
- Japanese-English or a Japanese dictionary arranged phonetically but
- when you look in a Kan-Wa (Chinese character to Japanese) dictionary
- they will be arranged by radical, fundemental segments of characters.
