  12. If the VME in VME bus stands for anything, it appears to be Versa Module Eurocard,
  13. or Versa Module European. More than one individual pointed  that it has no offical translation at all. One individual pointed out, correctly, that this question should have been posted to newsgroup comp.arch.vmebus. Mea culpa.
