  17. History: Motorola developed the Versabus as a advanced bus for their
  18. 68000 back in late 70's/early 80's.  It was some huge modules, used
  19. in their EXORmacs systems.  We europeeans love eurocards, so Motorola's
  20. dev. department ported the bus to double eurocards, what we know as the
  21. VMEbus.  It was announced on Systems'81 in Munich.
