- works on ethernet, token ring, etc. It has nothing to do with ethernet.

- Huh? NetBios can be ENCAPSULATED in different protocols (like TCPIP)
- but since it works on basically the same layer, what you are saying
- isn't correct. NetBeui is a flavor of NetBios which will run
- concurrently with TCP/IP. It is a way to trick NetBios aware programs
- to use TCP/IP instead. Microsoft is now using TCP/IP as their transport
- mechanism on LanManager (at least with LanManX for the HP9000).
