- At the ANU we are trying to link our mainframe into our
- ethernet backbone, and make better use of the data by
- utilising PC based applications. Our mainframe is a
- FACOM M760/8 running the MSP/AE OS.
-
- We have put TISP (Fujitsu's TCP/IP product) on the
- mainframe and are attempting to use the Chameleon
- TCP/IP product on the PCs. However, they won't
- talk to each other. We have the companies involved
- looking into the problem, but thought someone here
- might have an idea.
-
- We are using a product called 'Entire Connection' from
- Software AG, and this product requires Chameleon -
- so we have to persist. If anyone is familiar with either
- TISP and/or Chameleon and has any suggestions it would
- be much appreciated.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
