  23. The software has to be able to handle compressed SLIP, not the packet 
  24. driver.  For instance Clarkson University TCP (CUTCP) can talk CSLIP.  In 
  25. the CONFIG.TEL file there is an option "vjc=yes/no" (yes would turn on Van 
  26. Jacobson Header compression for compressed SLIP).

  28. Another package is Ka9Q NOS/NET.  These are the only two PD packages that I 
  29. am aware of that handle compressed SLIP on DOS platform.  Undoubtedly there 
  30. are others.
