  27.  Sure; turn locking off...

  29.  Your server does not support LockD Version 3 which has the extensions
  30.  necessary to do PC based record level locking.  Your going to have the
  31.  same problem and workaroudn with all the PC based NFS clients.

  33.  At the same time I would suggest pushing hard on your SVR3 vendor to
  34.  upgrade their lockd to the late 80's much less the 90's :-)
