- A short blurb on p. 2 of the 26 October issue of "Network World"
- gives a (U.S.) contact number for the Asynchronous Protocol
- Specification Alliance of 310 472 1055. The article says little more
- than to basically repeat the description you gave, that it's a forum
- for "developing a standard means for X.400 communications over dial-up
- lines".

- Although we (AT&T EasyLink Services) are also a member of the Alliance,
- I personally am not closely enough involved to try to represent their
- objectives or current status. Maybe one of those involved in convening
- the Alliance could say more . . .
